Digital Life 2007 : September 27-30, 2007, Jacob Javitts Center, NYC
I look forward to Digital Life each year and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed at this year's new products.
There were no innovative products this year, except for the Falcon mouse, which was quite cool. However, how do they expect someone to put that conveniently on their desk since it is huge !
New this year, a DigiKidz section with virtual interactive toys. Nothing new or exciting, all of them I have already seen or known about.
Displayed were the FurReal McCaw Parrot, RoboPanda, Littlset Pet Shop Virtual Interactive Pets (VIPS), EyeClops, Fisher Price Guitar, Barbie Girls and more.
The item that received the most attention this year from the media present was the R2-D2 projector which comes with a millennium falcon controller. Retail price $499.99
Toshiba came back with their Deal or No Deal show, which they have done for the past 3 years. Same thing each year. They need to change it up for next year because it is getting quite boring.
The best giveaway this year was HD-DVDs from Toshiba.
